Community Groups
God never intended us to live our lives alone. We were made for community, both with Him and with other people. Unfortunately, far too many people live with a perpetual feeling of loneliness and disconnection. Even in a crowd. Even in worship services of the church.
Community groups are opportunities to experience real community—things like genuine fellowship, personal accountability, and relational transparency. A community group is a place where we can be open and honest about our sin. A place where we can know and be known. A place to work out practical applications of the biblical teaching we receive on Sunday. A place to come together to love, support and encourage each other. A place to engage in discipleship. A place to experience support and mutual care between people using their spiritual gifts and resources to support each other. A place where we can pray for opportunities to grow and share our faith.
How important are community groups to CCE? Our mission at CCE is to be and make disciples of Jesus Christ for the glory of God. Community groups are one of the key ways we do that.

Men’s & Women’s Bible Studies
One of the ways we do discipleship at CCE is through our men’s and women’s Bible studies. Our Bible studies follow an inductive study method where we dig deep into the Scriptures together and use tools to study it, with the help of the Spirit, such as learning to identify the structure of a passage, making gospel connections from every book of the Bible, and mining the gems of what God has for us in His Word.
Our Bible studies are for youth & adults! Integrating youth into the life of the intergenerational church is important to us at CCE. If you join one of our studies, you’ll find people of all ages, and we think that is important for Christians in every season of life.

Why biweekly ministries?
All of our small groups are biweekly ministries that alternate between family-style community groups and men’s & women’s Bible studies. We do this because we want to love Christ, build community, and be on mission together and we do that best when our schedules aren’t filled too much with church commitments so we can live on mission loving God, family, and neighbor.
