What to Expect

We sing out of love for Christ because of all that he has done for us. Our music teams leads us in a mix of new and old songs that are singable, faithful, and focused on Jesus. Our music team does not put on a show, but seeks to leads our church in worshipping through song.

The Bible is God’s gift to us. Our elders are committed to teaching through the Bible, book by book, pointing us to Jesus in every sermon. If you don’t have a copy of the Bible, you are welcome to use one of ours.

One of the greatest privileges we have as followers of Jesus is being able pray with boldness and confidence. We’ll pray together throughout our time and, if you would like to have someone pray for you, any of our pastors would be honored to pray with you after the worship gathering – you’ll find them up front, waiting to serve you.

Communion is something that Jesus initiated the night before he died as a way for his followers to remember and participate in his death on the cross. At CCE, we celebrate communion together every week after the message. CCE welcomes all Christians who actively trust Jesus for salvation to receive communion with us. Each week, Christians come forward and serve each other a small bit of bread and juice as a way of participating in and remembering the body and blood of Jesus.

We don’t have a dress code at CCE. Most of us dress casually. Come the way you are, and we’d love to have you.

CCE is a family-friendly church. We believe that children are a blessing from God and are a vital part of every local church. After we sing a few songs together, we offer a class for children up to kindergarten, but many children remain in the service with their families. We know that having kids in the service with us – whether the whole time or before the class begins – brings some extra “kid noise” with it, and we like it that way. We love having families with kids of all ages worshiping together!
